New Delhi, 1st February 2007: SpiceJet, the fastest growing and the most efficient low – frills airline w.r.t load factor, turnaround time, high reliability & customer care has appointed Partha Sarathi Basu as its new Chief Financial Officer.

As the Chief Financial Officer, Partha will help SpiceJet in setting professional standards in all financial affairs and incorporate procedures with his immense corporate expertise to take SpiceJet to the next level of success.

Partha Sarathi Basu holds Business leadership Degree from IIM Kolkata and further went on to become a DBF from ICWA. He has proven knowledge in finance with more than 17 years of industry experience. He handled various portfolios in different capacities including his work at IFB – BOSCH, Tata MAN GHH Ltd., Autoliv IFB India Ltd., Coca-Cola (India) and Whirlpool of India Ltd. He spent his seven valuable years with Coca-Cola (India) and was responsible for setting up of financial systems in various regions and later on became country head for supply chain and logistics management. With massive experience in sales and logistics, Partha moved to Whirlpool of India to become Director Finance / Commercial before joining SpiceJet team as Chief Financial Officer.
