Rahil Karanwal joins SpiceJet as Regional Sales Manager – North
New Delhi, 01 November, 2006: SpiceJet, India’s favourite airline, has appointed Rahil Karanwal as the Regional Sales Manager – North.
As the Regional Sales Manager – North, Rahil will be a part of the core startup team and will be pivotal point in development and implementation of various policies and processes which form the very foundation of the airlines sales, marketing and distribution strategy.
Rahil Karanwal is currently pursuing his Executive MBA from FMS, Delhi University. He has vast experience in setting up distribution strategy and processes of airlines among channel partners. He has received recognition from the Sahara group chairman Mr. Subroto Roy for exceptional performance in sales during his 7 year tenure at Air Sahara, Delhi. Rahil was promoted twice in the same year and has consecutively achieved more than 150% growth in net revenue within six months of joining Sahara Airlines sales team. After Sahara he joined Navigator Travel Services Pvt. Ltd. as Product Head, Galaxy India and was there for almost two years. While heading Galaxy India, Rahil built business partners and established it as B2B trading platform for travel trade across India. Rahil is professionally skilled in building effective network partners, servicing them with customer delight approach and will and ability to exceed defined targets.
