Fares available on 23000 promotional seats across 12 sectors

New Delhi, June 16, 2006: SpiceJet today announced opening of their Hot Special ” Monsoon fares of Rs. 99 to Rs. 499 for 23000 promotional seats. These fares will be available on entire SpiceJet network spanning across 49 daily flights covering 12 cities. Recently SpiceJet included Guwahati to its network, which opens from July 10th 2006 onwards, however, the bookings to this sector has already started. The Hot Special Fares will be available for booking with effect from Saturday, 17 June, 2006 at 9:00 am onwards. These fares will be applicable only on purchase of a return fares and will be available for sale through SpiceJet’s website www.spicejet.com.

Making this announcement, Mr. Siddhanta Sharma, CEO SpiceJet thanked the passengers for their overwhelming response to the airline. He said, “An average load factor of 88 per cent (the highest in the industry) is a witness to the fact that SpiceJet is the most prefer airline by the passengers.”

He further added, “Our anniversary offer of 21000 promotional seats last month, sold out in just three hours. We are providing this opportunity to our valued patrons who could not avail it last time.”

Months after months the airline has registe highest load factor in the industry and in May 06 SpiceJet’s load factor was 92% and on certain days, on some sectors it was 100%.
