SpiceJet Announces New Mumbai – Hyderabad Sector
New Delhi, April 13, 2006: SpiceJet, India’s favorite low frill airlines today announced the launch of its daily direct flights between Mumbai and Hyderabad. Flights will commence from May 10, 2006 on SpiceJet’s new Boeing 737-800 aircraft. However the bookings open today April 13th 2006. The additional sector now takes SpiceJet’s operations to 12 sectors across India and the number of daily flights to 44.
With new services in place, now Mumbai will get a new sector that is HYDERABAD and in addition, second flight to CHENNAI sector. Hyderabad also gets great connections with two daily flights to DELHI, and CHENNAI and a daily flight to MUMBAI. Chennai will have increased flights to HYDERABAD (thrice daily) and twice daily to Delhi. It will also have Additional flight to Mumbai in the evening.

On this occasion, Mr. Ajay Singh Director SpiceJet said that Hyderabad and Mumbai are two pivotal business hubs and Mumbai are widely recognised for the enterprise and travelling instinct that contributes to the dynamic character of these cities. SpiceJet aims to make travelling more accessible and affordable for the majority of the population of frequent travellers. The low-cost airlines have created a new market: people who would never have flown because of high price can now take the aerial route.
