SpiceJet First to React to ATF Price Cut
New Delhi, December 1, 2005:Reacting to the recent ATF price cut, SpiceJet was the first airline to announce passing the benefit to customers by cutting fuel surcharge by fifty percent. Fuel surcharge has comedown by Rs. 200 and Rs. 100 on long and short haul sectors respectively.
Siddhanta Sharma, CEO Spicejet said ‘this is line with our commitment to customers that the prices will be brought down once the ATF prices are reduced. We would continue to follow this transparent policy for our valued guests.’
Sharma added that the airline is extremely happy with this rationalization of ATF prices and would soon bring more exciting news for its travelers.
Benefits of reduced Fuel Surcharge will be available for booking made after midnight of 1st December, 2005.
