SpiceJet Connects Delhi to Chennai & Hyderabad
Starting Late Night Operations from 4th Dec 2005
New Delhi, 22nd Nov 2005: With induction of two more Boeing 737-800 aircraft, SpiceJet while gearing up to offer new connections to southern India announced its Delhi – Chennai route via Hyderabad, with effect from December 4, 2005. The addition of these two cities now takes SpiceJet’s operations to 11 cities across India and the number of daily flights to 36.
SpiceJet has introduced “RED HOT” Special fares on these special late night flights which are available for booking on the reservation system from 23rd Nov onwards. The Red Hot Special Fares are Rs. 1599 for Delhi-Hyderabad, Rs. 999 for Hyderabad – Chennai and Rs. 1999 for Delhi – Chennai routes. In addition to these special fares, the regular fares (starting from) are Rs. 1999/- for Delhi-Hyderabad route & Rs. 1999/- for Delhi-Chennai route.

Flights on the DEL-HYD-MAA route will initially operate thrice weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and flights on the MAA-HYD-DEL route will operate on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Mondays.
Making this announcement, Mr. Ajay Singh, Director SpiceJet said, “We are proud to announce that SpiceJet is starting night flights to the dynamic cities of Hyderabad and Chennai. Keeping in mind the tremendous response we received from the first night flight service to Mumbai, we are confident that we will achieve greater response with this new service.”
