SpiceJet announced today that Siddhanta Sharma has taken over as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Popularly known as Sid, he has been associated with the company for almost five years and has played a key role in establishing Spicejet operations.

Mark Winders, the outgoing CEO, will continue to be involved with SpiceJet as a Consultant.

Peter Hill has been appointed as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the company. Peter has over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. He has worked in several airlines including Air Jamaica, Air Ontario, BWIA International Airways and BWIA West Indies Airways. Peter was the Chief Operating Officer of BWIA West Indies Airways.

Gary Osborne will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Roger Page and Captain Jatti Dhillon will continue to head Engineering and Flight Operations.
